You might wonder what this site is all about.

Once upon a time some Dwarves and Gnomes got to know that their former Hall will be closing down.
They did not fall into despair but set out on a Quest.
After some time of wandering through various places of a big universe they met again and decided to build a new Hall where all friendly creatures could come together and have a good time, laugh and play together.
And well, this is where we stand right now: Laying the cornerstone for building a place for a friendly community.

Or in non-fairytale words:

We are a group of friends that enjoy playing the online game
Wolfenstein – Enemy Territory
together and want to provide a friendly atmosphere for everyone playing on our server.
The rules are simple:
Have fun and treat everyone with the same respect you want to be treated by others and … no cheating, of course.
So if you got interested, feel free to drop in.
New as well as returning players are always welcome .

Hello fellow dwarves, gnomes and friendliy followers.

We are changing the game mod from NQ to Jaymod 2.2.0 for at least a while.

As the mod file takes some time to download in game we have created an entry in our Download section. More information on that you find in the extended news.

If you experience any problems with downloading the mod, or it simply taking you too long to wait to have a look at the loading screen instead of rushing into combat right away, feel free to download the mod file in advance ;)

Until everything is running smoothly and is adjusted the actual mod running might change from NQ to Jaymod and back to NQ some times in the next future.
So don't get confused by this ;)
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience the next days and thank you for your understanding.

But for the moment we are trying to find the golden mean between testing new ways as well as providing you the stable running interesting and entertaining game you all know.
But as Rome had not been built in one day either it might take some little time to get it all adjusted.

So please stay tuned for further improvements :)

And of course: as per usual any ideas on what to change or what new possibilities to test, new maps to explore - we are open for any suggestions. So feel free to leave your comment on the forum :)

Die Zeit ist gekommen...
...um Abschied zu nehmen. In der zehnjährigen Geschichte WolfMap's führten wir die Seite erfolgreich durch gute und schlechte Zeiten.

Aber nun ist die Zeit gekommen den Tatsachen ins Auge zu sehen. Die Anzahl der Spieler schrumpft von Tag zu Tag aus den unterschiedlichsten Gründen. Sei es eine Verschiebung der Prioritäten, eine Änderung der Lebensumstände im Privaten Bereich, ein neues hochgelobtes Spiel das heutzutage neben so vielen anderen geradezu inflationär auf den Markt geworfen wurde oder ganz einfach die Tatsache das man das Interesse am Online-Gaming verloren hat. Mit News sah es bereits vor 2009 sehr schlecht aus, wöchentlich gab es weniger....  lese weiter auf Wolfmap

The time has come...
...to say goodbye. During the 10 years of WolfMap's history we successfully led the site through good and bad times.

But now the time has come to face the facts. The amount of players is decreasing from day to day, for the most varied reasons: A movement of priorities, a change of private environment, a new highly acclaimed game that has been released next to so many others, or simply the fact that one lost the interest in online gaming. This month you can use the site as download archive, download now before it's to late.
There will be no news for this month, but next year you can read a full statement why we closed the site here on www.WolfMap.de.
